Wednesday, April 4, 2012 Presentation Description
Presentation DescriptionWellness programs are an invaluable tool for lowering medical insurance costs, raising employee morale, lessening sick and leave days, attracting new hires and influencing retention. But what is legal and ethical when you focus on employee’s health, and what crosses the line into personal lives and decisions?
By exploring various wellness initiatives aimed at improving the health of employees, including Scott’s Miracle Gro’s policy of firing employees who smoke, we’ll explore health leadership v. mandated change.
