Presentation DescriptionBranding is just as important today in attracting and retaining top employees as it is for attracting and retaining customers. In fact, the right employment message attracts the best candidates over and over again; candidates who could help your company reduce costs, improve productivity and increase revenue. It is important for companies to learn how to examine HR through the branding lens. During this Summit, Amanda Shewmake of NAS Recruitment Communications will lead a discussion on what employment branding is, why it is so important now, and how HR goes about building it. Additionally, Todd Straub from American Family Insurance and Jenny Medeke and Brenda Phebus from TDS will share with you their brands and the journey they took to get started! Learning Objectives:
Our PresenterAmanda Shewmake serves as the Vice President of the West Central Region for NAS Recruitment Communications, an agency of the McCann Worldgroup and leading provider of innovative human resources communication solutions with offices in 20 major markets in the United States and Canada. Her role is regional in scope and is designed to facilitate account implementation and strategic support and consultation. Having spent the last 20 years as a recruitment consultant for a diverse client roster including both Fortune 500 firms and small startups, Amanda has worked with a wide variety of clients to develop effective recruitment strategies that define and shape an organization’s recruiting efforts in the interactive marketplace of today. She offers ideas, insight and methodology to help client partners gain a competitive advantage in an effort to attract and retain “A” level talent. A featured speaker at various local SHRM and Mountain States Employer’s Council sessions, Amanda received her BSBA at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC.
