According to Patrick Lencioni, author of the best-selling book The 5 Dysfunctions of a Team, the most important behavior a team can build is TRUST. But as a leader, a manager, or an HR professional, the big question is: how do you do that in practice?
An atmosphere of trust requires that we “get naked” in front of one another, that we admit when “we’re wrong” or “I made a mistake” or “I need help.” For a team to establish real trust, its members, must be willing to take risks and BE VULNERABLE. While this can be uncomfortable to be sure, there are ways to do it with minimal pain and/or “sweat-over-the-brow.”
In this experiential presentation, I take participants through several exercises aimed at teaching how to build trust (i.e. how to be vulnerable) with others at work—relatively quickly and with minimal effort. Knowing how to do this is absolutely critical for creating vibrant, cohesive, creative teams and appealing, innovative and culture-rich workplaces.
Participants will learn . . .
