Health care reform has taken center stage in discussions for much of the past year often overshadowing exciting and innovative developments in benefits. Even in the challenging economy, employers have been able to bolster benefit offerings without adversely impacting their bottom line. Attendees of this program will:
1. Learn about trends that are becoming increasingly popular for employer sponsored benefits including consumer-driven health insurance plans and premiums, disability and life insurance, 401k plans, wellness programs, voluntary worksite benefits, onsite services and many more. Our Presenter -Ms. Amy Olson is an Account Executive in the Madison office of M3 Insurance Solutions for Business. Her primary role is to place and service employee benefit insurance products. In this capacity, Amy consults with and advises clients about the design, implementation and management of their benefit programs. Amy obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and Spanish from Illinois Wesleyan University. Her professional experience has utilized her skills in relationship management, business development, sales, marketing, training and public speaking. Prior to joining M3 in 2006, Amy served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce. Past roles also include Director of Business and Market Development for CUNA & Affiliates and Corporate Legal and Compliance Training Manager for Oshkosh Truck Corporation. Amy was among eight Madison nominees for the 2006 ATHENA award, which recognizes individuals who demonstrate excellence, creativity and initiative in their business or profession; contribute time and energy to improving the quality of life for others in the community; and actively assist women in realizing their full leadership potential. Amy is a licensed life and health insurance agent and has achieved the designation of Group Benefits Disability Specialist (GBDS). She is currently pursuing her Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) designation.
Amy serves on the board of The Business Forum and is a member of TEMPO Madison and the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA). She also volunteers her time with the United Way of Dane County as a volunteer fundraiser; moreover, she is a member of the Key Club and Rosenberry Society. Amy dedicates her time to help raise funds and awareness for pancreatic cancer research by volunteering as the Media Coordinator with the Madison Affiliate of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
